Trabajo=Trabajo documents the different jobs the artist has preform out of her porfession since the culmination of her bachelor’s degree to the time of completion her master’s degree . The jobs performed were as a security guard, attendant, house painter, senior companion, cat care giver, waitress, sales personel and body piercer.

The web-art project consists in uniting existing technological artifacts and developing a new creation. The Televinylcommunicatorium was posted in Wikipedia as a vehicle of exposure. The post contained a full history and description of the functions and used of the Televinylcommunicatorium. Eventually the post in Wikipedia was censured. In collaboration with Matt Daly and Laurix Bardinsky.

The art work consisted in taking a photo of myself holding a picture of a person with whom I had a bureaucratic inconvenience while trying to forge my professional goals. The picture is accompanied with footnotes explaining the situation.

JM-6 2006-08 investigate the analogies beteewn the desintegration of the house and home space in relation to Alzheimer disease. In this proccess of recovering memories the artist made a series of archeologigical excavation called Objetos Encontrados.These excavations were made in the backyard of the family home in Levittown; finding object from different periods of her life. The photography series Remiendos Errores y Rastros documents the mends, traces and mistakes left by the family of the artist in the house.

The project Iris 2003-05 investigates the disintegration of the memory due to Alzheimer disease. The disease has caused the artist’s mother the progressive loss of memory for the past twelve years. In this process, Matos establishes her relationship with her mother through a multiplicity of means like: photography, video and drawings that her mother made. The photography series Porcelana documents the different objects that relate to the life of two beings –mother and daughter– but in this work, operate in combination like a memento mori and vanitas. The video Iris is a selection of clips made by the artist during a period of three years of documentation. This video compiles the moments and memories of the therapy sessions, songs, sounds, conversations and the graphic art made by the artist’s mother .

The proposal was developed for the affected bombsite in Vieques Puerto Rico. The project consists of a marine investigation center that will develop water and soil contamination studies in areas affected by USA. military practices. BioLab was designed in reference to scientific Petri Dish- each singular structure can’t travel independently while performing contamination studies then returning to the main structure.
