Artist Statement
My interest at this moment is to investigate, preserve and reconstruct family and community history, memory and site specific spaces. I have been developing these themes in relation to the place I was raised, Levittown Lakes in the municipality of Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. The mediums used to document these subjects are through various means like: photography, video, drawings and recovered objects dug during excavations in the backyard of my family home.
